Templeton and Partners are looking for Senior Business Analyst for our global client.
Location- Leeds, hybrid ( 2 days office, 3 days remote)
Contract- 6 months, inside IR35What you'll do:
• Lead analysis activity by using data to identify and validate business assumptions and requirements
• Document requirements in the form of Agile User Stories and Acceptance Criteria and where appropriate, use more formal analysis techniques such as Use Case Diagrams and Business Process Modelling
• Work with Product Owners and development squads to build and maintain a well-refined backlog, including supporting the impact assessment of incoming deliverables
• Interact with developers and testers daily to ensure business objectives and user needs are accurately understood and implemented
• Contribute to, and help to foster, disciplined Agile working practices, assisting the Scrum Master in daily tasks and participating in or leading ceremonies
• Use Agile boards to maintain a constant flow of work in play at any time and collaborate with other delivery teams within Company to ensure key dependencies are identified, documented and managed
• Develop deep domain knowledge of the technology and deliverables owned by your squad
• Maintain documentation and contribute to knowledge sharing across the tribe and strive to improve the quality of our products, and ways of working
Requirements:
• Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and experience of completing high level impact assessments
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills combined with excellent attention to detail
• Extensive Business Analysis experience, ideally in an agile environment
• Practical experience of using agile analysis techniques, working closely with developers and testers, and using Agile tools
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills: able to communicate at both a technical and non-technical level and handle ambiguity with ease
• Good collaboration and facilitation skills and an ability to handle non-routine queries and resolve issues from application of previous experience
• Aptitude for working successfully in a fast-paced work environment
• Experience of managing expectations and staying calm and positive under pressure
• Awareness of app and web development technologies, techniques and practice
